Children less than 2.5 years of age are not allowed to be cared for in this building because none of the rooms has a door that opens directly to the outside. Smoke detectors are required in rooms used for sleeping. A carbon monoxide detector is required within this building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls and upgrades to the restroom doors. A fire alarm system will be installed in conjunction with this change of occupancy. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. A separate fire alarm permit shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such system. **CJW**
