Jerry Phone #: ###-#### per fire by e-mail I received a phone call from the applicant regarding fire alarm requirements for their restroom T.I. He indicated that the existing fire alarm system (installed in 1984) had horns but did not have strobes. I informed him that all he had to meet was minimum audibility levels of 15dB above ambient and that strobes would not be required, based on the date of original install. If minimum levels were not met, he will need to add horns and that would require a permit. Activity notes were added to Tidemark. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
