(VALLEY REGIONAL TRANSIT – MAIN STREET STATION – CITY CENTER PLAZA BASEMENT) To construct a Multi-Modal Transit Center in the basement of the new City Center Plaza building. The space will include offices, public waiting areas, and bus circulation. The total basement area, not including the bus ramps, is about 45,978 square feet. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 public multiple fixture restrooms accessible to the disabled, 2 single user employee restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior doors, interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, benches, service windows, and finishes. The office, waiting, and restroom areas are conditioned where the bus circulation and platform areas are not condition. A thermal envelope that complies with the energy code is required between conditioned and unconditioned areas. Special Inspection is required for welding. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
