(OWYHEE PLACE – INTERIOR FURRED OUT WALLS AT EXTERIOR WALLS – HISTORIC PORTION OF BUILDING) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area, height, and story increase. To remove furred out walls from the interior side of exterior walls and to install new furred out walls on the interior side of exterior walls. About 45 lineal feet of furred out wall will be constructed on the 2nd story and about 306 lineal feet of furred out wall will be constructed on the 6th story. On the 4th story about 113 lineal feet of existing furred out wall will be patched and repaired. New furred out walls will be constructed of metal studs and gypsum board with cavity insulation. Electrical rough-ins will be done in conjunction with this permit under a separate electrical permit. New gypsum board returns will be constructed at several existing exterior windows. This permit does NOT establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
