John and I went over life safety requirements. Per Carl Madsen the inactive leaf of the main exit can have the hardware removed and the manual flush bolts can remain. Roll down overhead door needs to be modified so it will not roll down. All hardware is to be removed from the center two exterior doors. Single action hardware is to be installed on the west most exterior door. All interior doors to have single action hardware or be removed per discussion. Provide sticker at the keyed main exit door. Provide mounted and tagged fire extinguishers as discussed. Per the mechanical contractor the new hvac unit is 1600cfm therefore under the threshold for duct smoke detector. The existing hvac unit is smaller than the new one. Contractor to provide larger address numbers as discussed.

No city approved plans on site. I met the broker and went over general life safety requirements. I noted missing fire extinguishers, multiple keyed dead bolts on the four store front exit doors, existing round knobs that may need updated and new round knobs that I know need to be updated, two new exit signs have been installed but no emergency lights, need verification that the new hvac units do not require duct detectors. Also the main exit door has manual flush bolts installed on the inactive leaf and there is a large overhead roll down door that can be pulled down infront of the main exit door.
