Special inspection is required (engineer of record) for structural steel support structure in the basement, see Statement of Special Inspections Form. Permit for new basement and foundation for historic house Fowler house that was moved from 413 5th St. The house is 1818 sq. ft. (900 sq. ft. first floor, 918 sq. ft. second floor) with new 795 sq. ft. unfinished basement. Scope of work is for new engeineered basement walls, foundation wall under porch and new stairway from main level to basement. The basement walls will be firred out for prescriptive engergy code. No other improvements on existing house besides connection to utilities are included under this scope of work. Separate permits are required for erosion, electrical, and plumbing. An ACCA report is required prior to any HVAC work. All work is to be done according to approved plans, engineering and current local codes.//leg

Tony and I reviewed the project to determine current status. Structure has not been secured to new foundation walls and misc. concrete work has yet to be completed at front porch. Stuctural steel has been inspected by special inspection. No electrical has been connected and only sewer from street has been installed. The structure is secured against entry.
