(D. B. SCHENKER INC.) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy to a 7,178 square foot office and warehouse tenant within an existing 26,180 square foot building. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. A separate permit is required for storage racks that exceed 8 feet in height. No change of occupancy classification is allowed under this permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Code Notes because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. This tenant space was formerly occupied by “GMA Construction” as an office and warehouse use under permit BLD13-03236. The existing restrooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled in compliance with the code in effect when they were constructed. The exterior landings, stairways, guards, and handrails at the East side-hinged exterior swinging doors are required to be maintained in compliance with the code in effect when they were installed. The fire sprinkler system is required to be maintained in compliance with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
