To remodel an existing 1,325 square foot one story residential condominium dwelling unit (1,119 square foot living area and 206 square foot garage) located on the 1st story of an existing 2 story residential building. New paint and floor coverings will be installed throughout the unit. Work within the master bathroom includes a new vanity, water closet, a bathtub/shower unit, and finishes. Work within the main toilet room includes a new water closet and vanity. The shower in that restroom will be removed. One wall of each restroom is located at an existing 2-hr fire-resistance-rated fire wall which is required to be maintained. Can lights (12 shown on the drawings) will be installed in the existing floor-ceiling assembly. The ceiling membrane will be extended above and around the can lights.
