The scope of this project is to add 33 sq ft of living space to the existing master bathroom while taking 15 feet of garage space (18 sq ft of new living space). The permit will allow the contractor to begin work on the foundation, deconstruction and exploration to field verify the existing structure in order to determine proper sizing of structural members. The contractor will have a conference with building inspector to field verify and may require an engineer to get invovled if deemed necessary. A Plan Modification may be required once the complete scope of work is determined. The work will begin with the approved plans as they are now, and work proceed by approved plans and local codes. Electrical, plumbing will be pulled separately. Smoke detectors and CO2 detectors will be required to be updated throughout the house.
