To create a 5,409 square foot warehouse and office tenant space from a larger space in an existing 23,100 square foot building. Work is to include an interior nonbearing 3-hr fire-resistance-rated fire barrier wall to create separate fire areas and to function as a tenant demising wall. Since this building does not have a fire sprinkler system, plastics are not allowed to be stored above 6 feet. A separate permit is required for racks over 8 feet in height. A fire sprinkler system is required throughout this tenant space (i.e. the fire area) before storage of plastics over 6 feet will be allowed.
