(SYKES – HEWLITT PACKARD - BLDG 8 - GENERATOR) Permit is for the addition of a new 33’x10’ generator with an engineered concrete pad at the exterior south/east end of the existing building and interior 1 hour rated walls (GA File No. WP 1350) and I hour rated ceiling (GA File No. FC 1110) at the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) room at the first floor. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: construction of new select interior nonbearing 1 hour rated walls, replacement of existing door with new 1 hour rated doors with smoke seals and sweeps at the UPS/Telecommunication rooms, replacing the door hardware at the electrical room with panic hardware, electrical work, mechanical ductwork, and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. **JG**
