Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 4,225 square foot tenant located within an existing building to continue to function as a restaurant. This restaurant tenant has occupied this space since 1965 with a major remodel being done in 1979. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a permit. No change of occupancy classification is allowed under this permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. **CJW**
