(TWO ZERO EIGHT SALON AND SPA – HOFF BUILDING – 1ST STORY) The fire sprinkler system is required because the building is a high rise. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a 1,421 square foot tenant space located to be used as a salon. This tenant space was previously occupied as a salon. This tenant space is located on the 1st story of a historic high rise building. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. Source capture ventilation systems are required at nail stations. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a permit. No change of occupancy classification is allowed under this permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. **CJW**
