Scope of work is to convert the existing attached garage into a master bedroom containing a master bathroom and flex room. The laundry room is existing and is not being altered by this permit therefore no improvements are required to bring it up to current energy code. The remaining exterior walls (see site plan) shall be made to accomodate an R-20 insulation. The floor will be raised to provide min. R-10 insulation the the attic area shall contain R-38 insulation. The new window in the master bedroom will have an 0.35 min. U-Value and shall meet egress requirements. The home will be brought up to code for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
