(ANNIVERSARY INN - WATER DAMAGE REPAIR) To replace gypsum board, insulation, and interior finishes that have been removed because of water damage within units #4 (Basement), #17 (1st story), and #33 (2nd story) of an existing 29,767 square foot hotel building. The work area is about 800 square feet on each story. The former 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction as required in Type V-A construction will be restored using 5/8” Type “X” gypsum board. All bearing wall studs, non-bearing wall studs, floor joists, and floor sheathing will be retained. The work is required to comply with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13-R and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
