To remodel an existing garage building and to construct a 307 square foot canopy addition to provide weather protection at mailboxes. After the addition, this building will have a total floor area of about 3,147 square feet. The former mailbox drive through will be converted into 2 boat storage rooms each having a floor area of about 325 square feet. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete pedestals, wood columns, wood beams, wood purlins, galvanized metal roofing, concrete sidewalk, wood stud shear wall, wood stud exterior infill walls at new doors, hardboard board and batten siding, overhead doors, side-hinged swinging doors, a passenger loading zone, and at least 324 mailboxes. All ground floor dwelling units shall be assigned accessible mailboxes (likely 1/3 of the total or more). Special Inspection is required for concrete, soils, and for welding.
