(OWYHEE PLACE – ASSEMBLY ROOM AND DECK – 7TH STORY) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area, height, and story increase. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 3,664 square foot assembly tenant space located on the 7th story of an historic building (1,607 square feet exterior deck, 1,500 square feet interior assembly area, 557 square feet interior restrooms, hallway, and elevator lobby). The maximum approved total occupant load for the 7th story, the interior area and the deck, is 150. The maximum approved occupant load for the interior area is 100 occupants based on 1 person for every 15 square feet. The 7th story was remodeled under shell permit BLD13-00938. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. **CJW**
