The scope of work is to construct two retaining walls on the rear yard slope. The walls are a Basalite brand mechanically stabilized earth system and vary in height. The walls will be constructed per the approved plans, attached engineering and local codes. **DAF** A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing/column subgrade is acceptable must be approved by Public Works prior to scheduling a footing inspection.
