(CITY CENTER PLAZA – PARKING GARAGE – BELOW CONVENTION CENTER) The fire sprinkler system is used for high-rise. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 26,335 square foot parking garage located below the Convention Center in the City Center Plaza building. The 1st tier (2nd story) has a total floor area of about 13,608 square feet and an occupant load of 68. The 2nd tier (3rd story) has a floor area of about 12,727 square feet and an occupant load of 64. The ramp from grade to the 1st tier (2nd story) has a floor area based on the horizontal projection of the ramp of about 3,312 square feet. The ramp from the 1st tier (2nd story) to the 2nd tier (3rd story) has a floor area based on the horizontal projection of the ramp of about 2,772 square feet. This parking garage was constructed under permit BLD14-03207 and all work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all codes and ordinances applicable under that permit. The mechanical ventilation approved as a code alternative under that permit is required to be maintained operational. No new work is authorized under this permit.
