(SBI CONTRACTING, INC – OCCPANCY APPROVAL REVIEW) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy to a 12,730 square foot office and storage tenant within an existing 13,830 square foot building. This tenant space is divided by a 2-hr fire-resistance-rated fire wall which is required to be maintained (3,000 square feet North of the fire wall and 9,730 square feet South of the fire wall). A 1,100 square foot area on the first story will not be occupied by this tenant. A separate permit is required to establish occupancy for that space. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. A separate permit is required for storage racks that exceed 8 feet in height. No change of occupancy classification is allowed under this permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Code Notes because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety.
