(UPTOWN CHEAPSKATE AND KID TO KID – TENANT SPACE EXPANSION) The fire sprinkler system is used for fire area. To expand an existing 8,702 square foot tenant space into an adjacent 1,742 square foot shell area within an existing 12,256 square foot building. The expansion area has never been occupied before. After the expansion this tenant space will have a total floor area of about 10,444 square feet. “Uptown Cheapskate” and “Kid to Kid” have separate sales areas and egress systems with shared office, break room, restrooms, and dressing rooms. The existing wall between this tenant space and the expansion area will be demolished. Work is to include a concrete slab on grade, an interior tenant demising wall, interior nonbearing walls, a single-user restroom accessible to the disabled, a suspended ceiling, a gypsum board ceiling, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. A separate fire sprinkler permit shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. This permit is intended to establish a new Certificate of Occupancy for the combined tenants including the expansion area. **CJW**
