(NORTH CYTOLOGY REMODEL – 1ST STORY – ST. LUKE’S HOSPITAL – NORTH WING) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for occupancy. To reconfigure and remodel a 1,374 square foot area containing the cytology lab to create better lab space and office space. The remodel area is located within a 5,310 square foot office and lab “tenant space”. The former 183 square foot Men’s locker/toilet room will be remodeled to create a new office and a smaller Men’s locker/toilet room accessible to the disabled. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, relocated doors, new vinyl faced ceiling tiles, two medical exhaust hoods, hood exhaust systems, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
