(MERRILL LYNCH – SECURITY DOORS) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise. To install two (2) security entry doors with double-acting pivot hinges at the lobby of an existing tenant space. These doors will each have an access-controlled egress device installed with pulls on each side of each door. The main lobby and the adjoining conference room will have exit access to only one means of egress from the space. After leaving the space, exit access to both exit stairways is provided. The only means of egress from the main lobby and the adjoining conference room will be through the elevator lobby. The new doors are not allowed to obstruct the return air path unless another return air path is provided. A desk mounted security door will also be installed. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
