Description
(MARRIOT COURTYARD) (CSN17-00088) To remove 5 existing signs (one monument sign, two directional signs, and two wall signs) and to install new signs in the same locations. The new monument sign will have an area of about 43 square feet. The top of the sign will be about 11.5 feet above grade (the sign area will be less than the former sign and the sign height will be lower than the former sign). The new illuminated sign cabinet, face, and pole cover will be installed over the existing sign pole. The existing foundation base will be re-used. The East wall sign will be a series of LED illuminated channel letters with acrylic faces mounted to a raceway and having a total area of about 54 square feet with not letter more than about 4 square feet. The West wall sign will be a series of LED illuminated channel letters with acrylic faces mounted to a raceway and having a total area of about 86 square feet with not letter more than about 6 square feet. The directional signs will have a total area of about 4 square feet each. The top of the signs will be about 3 feet above grade. The new illuminated sign cabinet, face, and pole cover will be installed over the existing sign pole. The existing foundation base will be re-used. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the attachment details, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Attachments are required to be sufficient to resist all gravity, snow, wind, and seismic loads with appropriate safety factors included. **CJW**
