Scope of work is to remove 2 interior non-loadbearing walls located between the kitchen and the dining room to create an open floor plan. Also, take a portion of the existing garage and turn it into part of the home to be used as a gun vault. The new wall separating the gun vault from the garage will be of 2x6 construction with R-20 insulation in it. The floor system for the new gun vault room is existing however it will be reinforced to support added loading for the vaults. Electrical and plumbing permits will be pulled separately.
