Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 6,700 square foot church. A church has occupied this building since 1957 and since 1980 when a Sanctuary addition was constructed. Egress from the Sanctuary is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. **CJW**
