(STOCKPILE DEFENSE – OCCUPANCY) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 8,370 square foot tenant space to be used for retail sales. The former tenant was “George’s Cycles”. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
