The NFPA 13R fire sprinkler system is used for the R-2 Occupancy. This building was constructed under permit BLD16-00473. The 2012 IBC was in effect at the time. To construct tenant improvements within an existing 846 square foot shell space for a coffee shop tenant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, two restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior doors, a bar, bar stools, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13R (NFPA 13 for the coffee shop) and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
