(LASIKPLUS – OCCUPANCY – TEMPORARY LOCATION – NEAR CENTER OF THE BUILDING) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 2,300 square foot tenant space to be used as a medical office outpatient clinic where no one is incapable of self-preservation. This is a temporary location for “LasikPlus” while their adjacent tenant space (i.e. Suite 120) is being completed. This 2,300 square foot tenant space was created when the adjacent 3,931 square tenant space for “LasikPlus” was created under BLD17-03877. The former 6,311 square foot tenant space was divided by a tenant demising wall into two tenant spaces (i.e. about 3,931 square feet and about 2,300 square feet) under that permit. The suite number for this tenant space was established under permit BLD17-03880. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist and except for some 5’- 9” tall interior partitions that will be constructed. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
