(VERDANT CROSSFIT) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 7,139 square foot tenant space to be used for CrossFit training. Egress is to the outside near or at grade. Each training room is classified as a B Occupancy with the occupant load based on one person for every 100 square feet or as required by the Building Official under a previous permit. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. The existing toilet rooms and the shower rooms are shared facilities with another tenant in this building. The egress system is required to be maintained in compliance with the Building Code and the Fire Code in effect at the time of the most recent former Certificate of Occupancy. The toilet rooms and the shower rooms are required to be maintained accessible to the disabled as defined by the standards in effect when they were constructed. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. **CJW**
