Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 20,778 square foot building to be used for office and the wholesale of roofing products. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. Aisles leading to exterior exit doors are required to be provided and maintained. A separate permit is required for racks over 8 feet tall.
