(WHITNEY FREDIN EVENTS – COMMERCIAL PREP KITCHEN – NO PUBLIC USE - OCCUPANCY) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for occupancy. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 1,205 square foot tenant space to be used as a commercial prep kitchen. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. A separate permit is required for racks over 8 feet tall. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

All items corrected except I still need the mechanical inspectors determination on whether a type 1 or type 2 hood is going to be required. The existing hood suppression system will need to be removed or modified depending on the mechanical inspectors decision.
