(ST. LUKES - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT 1ST STORY - TRAUMA ROOMS) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise and for occupancy. To remodel two existing 550 square foot trauma rooms located on the 1st story within the Emergency Department. Work to include: demolition of existing non-bearing partition wall, electrical, sink, interior finishes, and non-structural columns; construction of new non-bearing partition wall, accordion door, and acoustical ceiling tiles; relocation of medical gas lines; electrical and plumbing work; and new interior finishes in compliance with 2015 IBC Ch. 8. The 2-hr fire-resistance-rating of the existing floors is required to be maintained. The existing 2-hr fire barrier is required to be maintained. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **JAR**
