(XO BEAUTY – OCCUPANCY) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a lash studio in an existing 186 square foot tenant space within an existing 5,650 square foot building. A minimum 112 CFM exhaust fan ducted to the outside is required to serve this tenant space as a beauty salon. Except for the exhaust fan which is required a separate mechanical permit, no new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. The storage and use of hazardous materials within this tenant space shall comply with the 2015 International Fire Code. **CJW**
