(EXCEED INVESTMENT FIRM and ANTHOLOGY REAL ESTATE – 1ST STORY – SOUTHEAST CORNER) (5-6-20 PLAN MODIFICATION TO ADD A PODCAST ROOM, TO CHANGE THE FORMER PODCAST ROOM TO AN OFFICE, TO ADD A PHONE BOOTH, AND TO CHANGE A BREAK ROOM TO A CONFERENCE ROOM. WORK IS TO INCLUDE ADDING ANOTHER DOOR TO THE BUILDING COMMON CORRIDOR, NEW INTERIOR WALLS, NEW HORIZONTAL SLIDING DOOR, RELOCATED INTERIOR WALLS, AND RELOCATED HORIZONTAL SLIDING DOORS. THE OCCUPANT LOAD OF THE TENANT SPACE WILL NOT CHANGE.) The fire sprinkler system is used to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction of the building. Interior non-structural demolition work was done under permit BLD20-00518. To remodel an existing 3,555 square foot tenant space located on the 1st story of an existing 3 story building. The existing concrete floor slab will be cut with sections removed to accommodate new underslab plumbing. Work includes patches of the concrete slab on grade, interior non-bearing walls, two multi-user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, interior windows, interior doors, gypsum board ceilings supported by steel joists, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
