(TARBUSH KITCHEN – RESTAURANT – OCCUPANCY) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 1,488 square foot tenant space to be used as a restaurant within an existing 3,444 square foot building. This tenant space was previously part of “Kabul Market”. The interior access between the two tenant spaces will remain. Both tenant spaces will use the same toilet rooms. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. A “Notice of Non-Compliance” was issued on June 8, 2017 because the South exterior wall of this building has not been upgraded due to its proximity to a property line that was created which made the South exterior wall non-compliant. A separate building code enforcement mechanism is being used to accomplish that upgrade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. **CJW**
