Work includes construction of men's and women's locker rooms, a gym/training/skills space for Bodybuilding.com and modifications to the existing MEP and fire protection systems to support the new area. The Contractor shall phase construction and coordinate with the Building Inspector to obtain temporary occupancy of the gym space while the locker rooms are being completed. An accessible shower room is being provided that includes an accessible locker, shower, and bench. Finishes include replacing flooring, cabinets, counters, and interior finishes shall be in compliance with Ch. 8 of the current IBC. All separation walls / shafts / penetrations / exit enclosures within this space must be maintained. Any new wall framing must be of non-combustible building materials. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JHB**
