Remaining 8,000 sq. ft. of area is unoccupied and is used for exit purposes only - to be maintained available for exiting at all times to serve the 5th floor. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered except for the combination telephone equipment/battery rooms. Non-sprinkled areas are separated from sprinkled areas by 1-hour occupancy separation walls constructed & protected openings / penetrations, per section 302, 1997 UBC.
