Description	(HEATH WAREHOUSE - SHELL AND CORE) This building shall be fire sprinklered to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction. To renovate and remodel an existing warehouse building. When completed the first story will be 11,378 square feet and the 2nd story will be 1,738 square feet in floor area. Work is to include removing old roofing, installing new roof sheathing over the existing sheathing, installing a modified bitumen roof membrane, installing additional joists to support roof top mechanical equipment, installing exterior windows and doors, constructing a 196 square foot addition at the alley, placing a new concrete topping slab throughout, installing a fire sprinkler system, replacing skylights, tying walls to roof diaphragms to resist seismic forces, and constructing a new stairway to the second floor all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. NO TENANT OCCUPANCY ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department. A demo permit (BLD99-2238) was issued earlier.
