We installed 2 new GFCI protected outdoor soffet receptacles and tied them into the existing outdoor light so they are controlled by the same switch. The 1st receptacle is to the right of the northmost overhead garage door in the soffet(this is the GFCI that protects both), the 2nd receptacle is in the house soffet near the southeast corner of the house.
