I looked at the motor/door assembly through the access panel by the reception area and found open boxes, mc cable supported from emt, and a cord real with the cord running over a metal joice to the door. I called Paul who said that the cord was to be removed and blamed the low-voltage contractor for the rest. we decided to get the job finished so that i could know what I was looking at and possibly he might be there to defend his work when it is inspected.
