The customer doesn''t get home till 3 30, and the main panel is in the laundry room, so you''ll need to call ahead for access.
This is a small solar system, only 6 panels and all the work is external and visible. 6 solar panels. AC micro-inverter system. No DC voltage. Enphase M250 Micro-Inverters, that are CSA, IEEE-1547, and UL-1741 listed. Ironridge Integrated Grounding System mid clamps, bonding straps and bonding lugs. And 280 watt SolarWorld panels, ETL listed.
A single home run, in metal conduit, is ran under the eaves from the solar array to the knife switch, located next to meter base. From the knife switch to breaker in main panel, at the bottom of the busing, opposite the feeder lugs. Its and old split panel, so the breaker appears to be in the middle, but is opposite the main lugs. The solar breaker and the knife switch are permanently marked for solar with engraved label plates, and the circuit numbers identified in the knife switch and on the panel schedule.
The inverters, panels and rails are all bonded with a number 6 ground that runs back to the service grounding electrode below the meter base in plain sight.
