Discussed access to control box on HVAC units mounting in ceiling areas.
NEC 110.26 states full 30"wide and 36" deep work space shall be present. As per Daryl Degrange a reduction of 24" wide and 18" deep shall be provided minimum for access. Where an individual can safely reach over walls or piping systems for access reach shall be 18" or less so as to not create a danger of over reach.
