Site has held up well to the storm event that exceeded the 100yr storm event.

Message to RP and verbal to the Petra Foreman(Paul):
Maintain the stabilized construction exit by the end of the day. Will follow up on 1/3/2011.

vERBAL MESSAGE TO rp:
Maintain sediment barriers along the perimeter of the project area.

Follow up inspection from last Friday. New straw wattle checkdams each side of the road installed correctly and should assist reducing runoff velocity. Additional silt fence has yet to be installed. Additional minor misc maintenance needed throughout work site. No growth from new Hdy. seeding yet to be observed. Informed RP of items summaried in this report.

Verbal to RP: As a result of rain overnight rilling has occurred which is threatening to override the sediment controls at the first drainage. Rills are undercutting horizental barriers leading to the perimeter controls. M. Martin (RP) will talk to Jerry F. and take the necessary steps to address the problems. Also additional mulch application on this drainage is highly recommended. Re-vegetation on this drainage is paramount importence. Will follow up Friday a.m. at 10:00.

All vertical slopes except for the slope behind the building pad have had PAM 12 w/ seed applied to them. Starting to see vegitation on all the areas where the PAM12 w/ seed was applied. But only about 5% or less of total area has vegitation coverage.
The RP (Mike Martin) explained that he will be checking on the building plan to see what is the plan for the slope behind the future home is. It could have a terraced retaining wall set up. Will contact the erosion conrtol manager with an answer on the slope stabilization meathod. The ESC/ SWPPP plan shows that there is five options for stabilization on the vertical slopes over a 5% grade.
1. Mulch
2. Seeding
3. Matting (Jute Netting)
4. Top soil spreading with seed and tachifier
5. Retaining wall.
Waiting on an anwser from the project owner on the final stabilization method.

All slopes have had PAM12 applied.

Additional wattle have been installed on the slopes where rilling has occcured for energy disapators. Also much of the sediment that collected behind the wired back siltfence has been removed. Minor sediment need to be cleaned up at the entrance from tracking.

Verbal Message to RP:
Correction Notice
Maintain silt fence at the first drainage where the sediment has collected behind the silt fence that has exceeded over 50% compacity and has breeched the top of the silf fence.
Must be completed by 1/14/2011PM. Failure to comply will result in a stop work order. Will re-inspect on 1/18/2011am.

RP has installed energy disapators along the driveway up the slope to collect sediment and slow the velocity of the drainage flow cominng down the driveway. Also at the back of asphalt a sediment barrier was installed to not allow any runoff onto the hard surface.

Starting to install the additional barriers with the south west end of the project area. Also cleaning up the entrance once the bmp's are installed.

Met with RP and Petra Owner, (Jerry F.) Reviewed site and suggested a few additional structual controls and reviewed hyd. spraying of site, including PAM 12, seed, mulch and liquid nutrients on misc. slopes where cutting resulted in areas where soil types C & D needed re-vegetation. Requested notification when scheduled for spraying. As well, modify plan on re-vegetation.

Message to RP:
Contact the city to give a timelime of when stabilizing all slopes that area temporarly completed with grade. Will follow up will a phone call as a confrence on 11/17/2010am.

Showed areas the the acting Super of the project (not the RP) of the areas where track walking need to occur and where they should consider placing in sediment barriers and energy disapators. Will follow-up on 11/8/2010 AM.

Written Correction to RP, dump trucks running in and out but the rock entrance is not acceptable, already issued two verbal corrections for the entrance to be installed. Will re-inspect on Monday morning 11/1/10, if not installed a stop work order will be issued.

Verbal to RP:
Place energy disapaters to break up the slopes.
Provide maintenance on the construction exit by ruffening up and adding a 2" or greater angular rock. Will re-inspect on 10/29/2010am.

Inspect post rain event-status of site? Site withstood the .6 inches of rain well, no runoff problems observed. Informed RP that the rock entrance needs a top dressing of basalt rock to reduce tracking to achieve MEP. As well, with higher moisture content this is a ideal time to trackwalk the slopes. Overall site is ok.

Met with RP and owner (Jerry), walked site, additiona controls are needed due to forecasted rain Will re-inspect on Monday.

Verbal to Mike at Avalon: Install additional sediment barriers on each side of the slope next to the perimeter silt fence. As well re-install drainage sediment barriers at the end of the day. All installation is needed by the end of day as a possible serious rain event is forecasted this evening and overnight.
