Note, canal was turned off this morning and only a slow tickle was present at time of conference due to inadequate pump capacity. Requested cofferdam at down gradient side of canal to be installed. Perimeter controls in place. Silt fence was not trenched in. Contractor removed silt fence and installed wattles. Upon demo of deck, it was discovered that the slopes to canal were not stabilized. Canal work will be performed in the dry and subsequently permanently stabilized. This work is tenatively scheduled for mid September. Construction entrance and concrete washout scheduled to go in 8/30/12. Discussed requirement to have washout a minimum of 50' from canal
