WIP. Street and gutter are cleaning. Silt fence BMP is in good condition and erosion control blanket is staying tacked down and grass is sprouting through.
General Inspection2/24/20152/24/20152/24/2015PPART
DetailsAndy J. Long
Lower section of erosion control blanket is staying in place by being tacked in and grass is starting to grow through fabric in areas. Silt fence below rock wall is trenched in a stopping sediment from moving down hill. Street is clean and trash contained.

Top of erosion control blanket needs to be tacked in and re-installed. Looks like the seeds are not taking in this area either. Should repair during the dry conditions.

Check next inspection for repair.

Follow up inspection to check that silt fence below retaining wall has been repaired...

Repairs have been made to silt fence and it is properly trenched where it had failed. The erosion control blanket was also re-secured at the top and trench in. Site is in pretty good condition overall now. Receiving DI has filter bag installed. Permit is posted. No spills or ongoing erosion.

Workers doing well to keep trackout off Strata Via and sidewalk. Dirt is muddy and very sticky, so definitely tough conditions.

Correction issued to onsite Shadow Mtn homes supervisor Scott to repair silt fence below rock wall, divert stormwater drainage to the vegetated side. He called Specialty Construction to make the repairs ASAP.

Permit posted, no trackout. Crew working during inspection swept sidewalks during my visit.

Checked installation of the erosion control blanket and observed no current issues and that it is stapled in to the ground. Need to trench in top of blanket to anchor it. Called RP-GC to see if seed had been applied before installing blanket.

No issues at this time, but left VM to Don Flynn regarding the ECB installation.
