Report of no fugitive dust control

No dust control at time of arrival. Front end hoist driving from alley on Myrtle to Capitol creating dust. Lots of loose dirt in staging lanes and at perimeter. RP on permit no longer on site, no new contact provided.

Dustin with Tuffy did order water truck, push broom sweeping of the drive lane, and told equipment operators to drive slower.

Will check back Monday on conditions. Storm drain system on Capitol/Myrtle has inlet protection and will be retrofit next week.


Water truck arrived onsite before I had left the area.

WIP on new storm drain system along Capitol and Broad as well as the sidewalk area. No trackout or discharges from site. Existing inlet on Myrtle has sediment protection.

Drop inlet protection installed. No trackout, no discharges or loose materials observed. Exterior site work and interior work in progress. No corections requested.

Need to have them clean up gutters within staging lanes on Capitol and Myrtle

No ESC issues observed.

Need to clean up muddy construction access area off Broad street and provide more rock as necessary.

Receiving inlet has filter bag installed.

Vertical construction in progress. Concrete washout/liquid waste containment pans utilized. Myrtle Street staging lane has been cleaned. No discharges. Permit sign /SWPPP info posted on Broad Street.

Uncontained masonry cement mix station next to gutter. Gutter has dirt, mud, and cementitious materials. MS4 inlet does have filter inlet bag; concete washout bins are being utilized.

Onsite inspection and verbal correction request to RP Jim:
- clean up gutter, sweep staging lane within fence
- install checkdam sand bags to trap materials on the surface for easy maintenance.
- coir mat filter on top of inlet in additon to filter bag could add protection.
- increase sweepig of the area to 3-4 x a week

Jim agreed and started getting crew to make corrections and clean. Will re-inspect early next week

Vertical construction in progress. Sediment and materials contained within pre-existing curbs that were pres No trackout from site. DIs have sediment protection, which is filtering street runoff.

Issued verbal correction to clean up and provide compliant concrete washout and install new sediment filter bags on the inlet affected.

RP Jim Williams called to disclose corrective actions had been completed. Will inspect tomorrow. Sent email as well

WIP on vertrical construction for new hotel. No trackout, storm drains have inlet protection, and trash and materials are well kepts. No spills or discharges observed. Approved.

Site preveiously prepped and is approved for staging for footing work to begin in early January. Tuffy and Big D excavation on site.

Corrections:
- install 1 DI bag on Myrtle and 6th to receive runoff from Broad Street east of construction by Trader Joes. All of DIs have inlet protection.
- site is already pit run should not be too muddy, but construction entrance may require additional rock or rumble bars.
