BEAVER RIVER POWER CO/Power House Building - To install a manual fire alarm system and provide sprinkler monitoring and complete audible/visual annunciation. This is a modification to an existing building. Plans indicate this alarm system is designed for an A2.1occupancy but occupancy cannot be confirmed under this building permit. This alarm system is approved only for the "SHELL" building permit. A re-evaluation of the alarm system will be required when occupancy is determined under the TI permit; modifications to the alarms system may be required at that time.
The associated building permit is to upgrade an existing building shell and core. Work is to include a fire sprinkler system throughout, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, 2 interior stairways, 1 exterior stairway, new openings in existing masonry walls, new interior doors/windows, new exterior doors, and mechanical/electrical infrastructure. The mechanical mezzanine is being expanded by 225 square feet. The building permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. Tenant improvement building permits shall be applied for separately.
