MK Plaza IV / Elevator Upgrade - To install a new elevator recall system for the Building IV, to provide primary and alternate floor recall capability. Work will include a new Silent Knight 5815XL, Signal Line Circuit Extender panel, installed in the control panel room off the lobby of building IV, which will be connected to the recently installed Silent Knight 5820XL FAC panel located in Central Plaza's fire alarm control panel room. A Silent Knight 5860 remote annunciator panel will be located in Plaza IV's fire alarm control panel room. Approved addressable module relays for each elevator lobby detector will activate the elevator control panel to effect recall, and will also be connected to the existing Honeywell Building FAC panel to indicate the floor level of the detector in alarm and put the alarm system in Building IV into general alarm.
NOTE: This permit includes installing smoke detectors in the elevator lobby of floors 1, 2 and 7 and the elevator machine room; remaining lobbies will be upgraded one floor per year, all per the BCFD approved elevator upgrade program dated May 5, 2000. In the interim, any fire alarm condition on the Honeywell system will cause elevator recall to the primary (1st) floor.
