JOE'S ALL AMERICAN - To install a required fire alarm system in this building. The building will include a smoke detectors for release of smoke doors (and dampers if applicable), manual alarm system, off-site monitoring of the sprinkler system, elevator recall, monitoring of air handling unit duct smoke detectors, and audible/visual alarm annunciation .
The 1st and 2nd floor level areas occupied by the restaurant and its associated dining, kitchen and staff support areas are excluded from this permit, based an upgrade agreement approved by the BCFD which indicates that all required alarm upgrades in these remaining building areas will be completed in 2001 (whether or not this work coincides with the planned TI work for the restaurant).
NOTE: This fire alarm permit affects two building permits: Bld97-02548 for TI work on the 1st and 2nd level, and BLD01-01349 for TI work on the Basement level. This Fire alarm permit must be Finaled for either of the two building permits to be finaled. No occupancy of the basement is allowed without this permit (and the associated building permit) being finaled.
